This public webinar will provide an overview of health disparities experienced by the Portuguese-speaking communities in the United States, namely in Massachusetts. In addition, it will explore health-disparities terminology and concepts, describe social issues that impact the health and well-being of Portuguese-speaking communities, and discuss specific public health considerations pertinent to the current coronavirus health crisis. The webinar has broad relevance to clinicians, public health practitioners, community advocates, policy makers, administrators, researchers and academics, as well as the interested public.
